Visitors

Exciting plans for the next few days….tomorrow friends from Canada that live in the UK are coming to Cape Town. We'll pick them up at the airport and then visit during the week while they take in the sights. On Thursday we're going to the free stage at the Cape Town Jazz festival with Marion and Ricardo. We also have tickets for the festival on Friday to see Ladysmith Black Mambazo along with other groups. We've got a babysitter for that night. Sunday, being Palm we have been invited for lunch.

We also went out to a cell group from church for lunch on Sunday. This was in the suburb of Milnerton at a beautiful place. The kids had other kids to play with (in the pool or the cricket trainer). The food was nice, and we had a good visit. We did have to rush off since we were going to meet Marion and Ricardo at the Kirstenbosch gardens. Flat Stanley was playing, one of SA's top rock groups. Along the lines of Nickelback (at least what I know of them). Last Saturday evening we had a visitor for supper as well, Ochi from Nigeria who just moved here and who we met at church. He is a doctor training at the Groot Schur hospital to improve his pain management skills. We had a great visit. Ochi is here for a year and has a family back home in Lagos (city of 17 million).

Four more school days until break here…kids are excited to see Grandma and Grandpa! Every airplane we see Harrison asks if Grandpa Ron is in it.
