Oh well, there is always next year.
Carla was definitely surprised yesterday as some of our closest friends turned out to Kirstenbosch and celebrate a 35th birthday as we ate roti and samoosa and drank some wine as well as watch the Vusi Mahalasela concert. The food was great and the music was superb. The weather cooperated as well which added to the day.
Yesterday was also the kid's Christmas "pageant" at church. The kids each had a small role and Harrison stole the show again with his smile. The old ladies literally fawn over him. They have their program early on in the season since many people go holidaying over the Christmas break.
The weather also was ok for Saturday and Henry's party. The kids spent most of the time in the pool or on the field playing rugby. They annilhilated the food and had energy to spare. Henry had a great day as it culminated in him being chased and thrown into the pool. Then everybody else had to take a turn getting thrown or pushed in. Some of the parents hung around during the party and we had a great time visiting. Mr. Rondi was the cake supplier for both days and he did not disappoint. Other news on Mr. Rondi is that he is now found a spot to move to. He will be out a week after we leave, so crisis that we thought was coming in March was averted and we were with fresh buns for the whole year.
Way to go Bisons!
