We made it to Pilanesberg in one piece. The flight was nice, we watched the Just for laughs from Montreal on the plane and ate a nice snack. My newspaper had an article about Churchill as a travel destination. Interesting, I guess people here want to see our animals too. We traded the cars we were to rent in on one (big) van to fit us all in. This suits well since we are seated higher to view the game better. And view we did this afternoon. The zebras (Burchell's), rhino (white), hippo (huge), various grazers such as kudu, wildebeest, and springbok, as well as a few healthy giraffe were on the menu today together with an awe inspiring African fish eagle and other beautiful birds. I will post the pictures as soon as I find my cable.
The food is awesome here at Bakubung and we have a view of the park from our restaurant to watch the blue wildebeest, hippo and sacred ibis as we eat. Mom and dad went on a game drive this morning and also saw elephant and buffalo (pack of 60). We will get on it tomorrow morning as Harry cannot go this time as he is too young.
