We made it to Swift Current without any issues...except the pool and waterslide is out of commission which disappointed the kids. After a late supper at Taco Time we walked back to the HOJO for a little TV and bed. The kids behaved very well in the van....it was a long drive. We had left at ten fifteen from WPG, then stopped in Brandon for lunch. Harry already had his nap between that time. We watched Cars in between our coffee break at Robins in Regina and Swift Current, which was a good way to make that part short.
Tomorrow it is off to Calgary and perhaps stay with Leon, our cousin.

Thanks for the update - glad to hear the trip is going well so far.
We had our own little road trip this week... made our way to Matheson Island, Pine Dock, and spent the night at Hecla. On our way out of Hecla this morning I spotted a moose in the swamp. Very cool. I figured my African safari eyes had been well-trained.
We drove east towards Lake Manitoba this morning. Matt had never seen this lake so it became a reason to drive. A good time was had by all.
