Navel oranges - $1.00/ 4kgs
At the cafe tonight watching the Canadian Grand Prix.....go Jacques! Oops, he is not in F1 anymore. Nice to see Canada without snow though...sunny and warm. Here it is still rainy. Some rivers have jumped the banks and flooded out citrus farms. The people are very happy with the moisture, saying that the land here needs it. The flowers should be amazing in August.
We attended a church service in Khayletsia this morning. Interesting to see. The singing was very soulful, lots of "praise Jesus", etc during songs, prayers, and the sermons. Afterward we had pancakes at the waterfront with Dan and Yvonne. That was very good.
Yesterday we picked up some toys for the kids at the Game store. Reminded me of a Zellers store without the clothes. You could buy everything else.
Friday night Katy had a friend over and they played and had a great time.
This week the strike is still on, Katy has no school on Wednesday pending an agreement. I haven't heard any news on them getting closer over the weekend.
Harrison and I revisited Rondevlei and found this little Malachi's Kingfisher watching us.

i bought four, but i could have mistaken them for large lemons, they were so colourless.
no winter here, man. it's 28 right now, heading for 31. and humid a bit too. might have to turn on the air conditioner!
