Katy had a great time at the Saturday morning hockey festival (they don't call them tournaments if they don't keep score). She played goal for three games, and then at our suggestion, asked to play out for the last game. Here we saw her full potential, as she scored a goal and led her team to victory! The smell of Boew'wors was in the air from eight oclock in the morning as the braiis were lit up early. Everyone wanted a sausage burger! They were good, I tell you, but every bit as greasy as a McDonald's sausage mcmuffin.
On Sunday we had been invited to Heather Prest's for afternoon lunch, she is a fantastic cook and this was a super meal. We were spoiled.
Yesterday Henry had the day off so after dropping Katy off at school the boys took off to do the shopping and then off to the V & A to look at the aquarium. We also found that there is a new Subway restaurant open there. Our first subs in six months. Not a huge treat, but a treat nonetheless.
Henry was back to school today (Tuesday) but there are still some kids that are at home. They government has come back to the table with another .5% (total to 6.5) and that was rejected by the unions. Hopefully things will work out soon. All extramurals have been cancelled as a result except for weekend events. Henry has a rugby tournament on Saturday which we'll look forward to.

Way to go Katy! Sounds like you're having fun AND scoring goals. Good for you!
Henry - I'm looking forward to reading more about your rugby...
Harry - are you still practising your swimming?
With hugs from Auntie Chris
