Strike still on...gas prices up to 7 Rand per litre. Kids are in school but may be out for a day or two next week. Schalk Burger may be bound for France next year.
This morning I saw a man walking in the wildlife enclosure on devil's peak. He was just walking around, stopping here and there to watch the animals. He was obviously not supposed to be there. The animals were watching him very warily and stampeding here and there to avoid him getting too close. I was just about to call someone (not sure who) and then he walked out.
The rugby matches for Saturday are also cancelled due to the strike. Too bad, Henry was getting pumped about that.
We are thinking of joining Dan and Yvonne at a township church service this Sunday. Would be interesting, much of the service would be in Xhosa, the local language.
