Big strike action confirmed for tomorrow. Kids are off school again. Violence at the Groote Schur Hospital this morning with police firing stun grenades into protestors. This was after 75 staff including some nurses were fired on Monday. More violence expected if settlement not reached.
I'm planning to spend the day climbing up Table Mountain with Henry if the weather permits. The sun has arrived and expected to hang around for a few days. With luck we'll get over 20 degrees for the weekend.
England will be in town playing the 'Boks at Newlands, and I'll be in Zeekovlei watching the game while Henry attends a birthday party in the marsh area. Should be a good one. Carla and I have tickets for Jimmy Dludlu at Madame Zingara's on Sunday. Google Madame Zingara to see an interesting venue.

Also we received a package from Al and Ruth on Friday that was sent on January 31 from Winkler. How the postal service continues to operate is beyond me. The Cheerios are still fresh and we are enjoying them! Thanks Mom!
