The strike is still on says Cosatu, however cracks are starting to show. We're not sure what is going on since the teachers are teaching in most places. The unions are now down to 9% while the gov't still says 7.5. Where this will go is anyone's guess however the holidays are drawing near for the teachers at least so the kids will not be affected.
Parts of the country are on fire due to forest fires and parts of the country are covered in snow...funny how they make a huge deal of it here. I was almost laughed at for wearing short sleeves out today when the sun was out.
