Got another ticket in the mail yesterday...great. Opened it, 200Rand, speeding ticket. great. Just what I needed after I saw that I lost my appeal on my parking ticket. At any rate, I could go to Pick'n'Pay to pay for it, that's easy enough. Just a minute, hold on! I can fight this one! Apparently my Honda was caught speeding in Mafikeng. I was never there. But wait, was my Honda there? It was, but I wasn't driving. This ticket will make it's way back to Mercury Bay in Winnipeg I think maybe even framed! We had a good laugh at that one at any rate. With the way the Rand is going, that 200 will be about thirty bucks.
What is with the markets anyway? I haven't read too much, but interest rates have been hiked yesterday in SA to 13.5%. It's expensive here to take out loans, but if you have money, the savings interest is near 10%.
Rugby today which is becoming more fun as the kids progress...and beer with the dads on the field is nice too. Tournament tomorrow morning and Katy has her birthday party at the bowling lanes with her friends. Should be a busy day.

Just got back for a "singfest" or eistenfed that Katy's choir was participating in. That sure is hit or miss...some really good and others not so good. At any rate, Katy's choir was good and we got it on video.
Springboks are in action tonight in town versus Namibia...supposed to be a cakewalk but who knows?
And in further news....Christine is engaged! to her boyfriend Matt...we are excited...can't wait for the big party!
