Chris has been here for not even two days yet but we've already seen a number of the local tourist attractions with her. This morning it was off to the Waterfront and the aquarium, some samoosas for lunch. Yesterday we visited Groot Constantia and bought some port, stopped at Kirstenbosch on the way and saw the plants. She's seen Henry's school and met the teacher, we bought buns from Mr. Rondi. We're planning on watching the sunset from Signal Hill tonight.
It is so great to see Chris again, we're so glad she decided to come.
We've also posted our car for sale and already received a few enquiries as well as an offer. It was a little low from what I've researched so we may hold out for a week or two to see what other interest we get. That Ballade should sell itself, there is plenty of demand for good used cars.
At any rate, I checked the calendar today and we are here for another 35 days. Wow time flies. We have made too many new friends and it will be hard to leave. But we are are definitely excited to see everyone back home.

The Boks drove through town yesterday on their big whorlwind country wide tour. They drove down Main Rd and the street was lined with thousands of fans. Apparently the minister of education gave the schools permission to leave early, and about 200 schools drove to the stadium to see the rugby team. Rondebosch had a spot near the school and all the grades walked up to watch the processional. Rustenberg had the parade right past their school so they had made signs and cheered (screamed) as the double decker bus went by.
Tomorrow is Hallowe'en but more importantly Christine will fly in at 10:30 in the evening. We have a full two weeks planned, hopefully we can get everything in that we can.
