We made it. We are back in Canada. The flights were okay, long but ok. We spent a night in a Holiday Inn Express in Frankfurt and then met the WWE wrestlers at the airport. They were ominous. I've got high speed internet as we're staying at Carla's parents for the time being as we get 63 Leeds back in order.

OK, we're all packed up...ready to go we think. Supper is at Heather's. We hope that we will wake up on time. Henry and I are at the cafe doing some last minute things and then we'll go home for a short nap. The bags are all under the 23kg limit. Let's hope the food is good and the movies are long. We're on our way back to Canada. Here's a great picture taken by one of our friends at the Kirstenbosch Gardens...

And here is a link to their blog which has some good information.

OK we are just about there, hold your horses and don't get impatient. We need to spend some time at the beach tomorrow before we finish our packing, plus Carla has a birthday to attend to, and it just so happens we've been invited for supper at Heather Prest's place on Wednesday. She is a fantastic host. Plus they have a pool so that keeps the kids occupied. Plus our car is sold so we don't have to worry about driving. We will celebrate and then wake up early to catch our flight. My friend Steve Curry will pick us up with his "bakkie" and take us as far as Khayletsia he says and then we will have to catch a minibus the rest of the way. I think we should be fine.
At any rate, we said our goodbyes yesterday at Mowbray Presby and it was tough. I was asked to sing O Come O Come Emmanuel during the service since I had done such a good job at the Christmas party the day before....LOL.
I am looking forward to some nice Winnipeg Rye bread for breakfast, maybe some CHeerios and a trip to Timmy's would be a good start.
